Breckenridge Alpine Garden Clean Up Day. 10 am

Breckenridge Alpine Garden work days. 10 am to 12 pm. Please see application to sign up for one. Wednesday where you will be “in charge”. (this will replace signing up to monitor the garden for a week) All members should come to help as many weeks as they are able.

Tuesday, June 8th

“Composting in the High Country.” 7 pm at the Frisco Senior/Community Center. This program is presented by High County Conservation Center. This event is open to the public.

Wednesday, June16

Plant Select Day at Denver Botanical Garden. Plants are selected to be used as test plants in the Breckenridge Alpine Garden. Erika Figueroa will be coordinating this day – watch for sign up and car pool details.

Saturday, June 19

Breckenridge Alpine Garden planting day for plants from Plant Select Day. 10:00 am

Tuesday, July 20th

Jane Hendrix talks about rock gardens and gardening at altitude. 3 pm, Jane’s home, 0133 County Rd 917 (Peak 7), Breckenridge. Following the talk, Jane will guide us on a gentle wildflower hike on Peak 7.

Saturday, July 24th

Summit County Garden Club Annual Garden Tour. Registration is from 8:30-10:30 at the Frisco Senior/Community Center. The tour this year will feature the gardens on the South end of the county. All members are welcome AND needed to make this day a success – please see the attached membership application to volunteer!

Tuesday, August 3rd

Garden Club Social. 2nd Annual Progressive Dinner & Tour of Member Gardens. Time and locations to be announced at a later date. You may volunteer to host a course on the membership application.
